He exerted students to keep their line and to make them smile at the same time. It was not easy standing in the line for 5 minutes to the 10 year-old-students. They only could remember their boyhood in this one old picture. Sometimes, it makes them cry or smile. And then...

Children have their own society. There are many rules to keep, and there are their own grades amongst them. Sometimes, children have cruelty in their mind. They are jealous of each other, envy their friends, and often exclude one friend only because the friend doesn't follow their rules. But still they are best friends.

They are close friends. They go to school together every morning, and study mathematics, play soccer after school, tease girls who they like, and sometimes they fight about their favorite athlete. The boy who lives in uptown hesitates to say sorry to his friend. But the boy who lives in downtown wants to say sorry first. My teacher always said I could do anything if I desire it with all my heart..

The boy was so shy when I asked to take picture of him. He tried to hide with his friend. He just laughed and whispered a word or two into his friend's ear. After that he wanted to show his painting which he drew of his snow fight during the winter of 1993.

옛날, 리더스 다이제스트에서 오려놨던 사진. 청계천의 본 모습이다. 왜 나는 이 청계천의 모습이 더 좋은걸까... 하얀 콘크리트 벽돌 뭐 이런걸로 만들어진 청계천- 딱 한번 가봤다. 1955년 8월 15일 광복절 경축 행렬이 보이는데, 그 당시에 어디에서 이 사진을 찍었는지 궁금하다. 근처에 이렇게 높은데가 있었나...
